Congratulations on taking a positive step to start your own scooter business. While the scooter business has experienced tremendous growth over the past decade, it has also become very competitive. However, it is still an extremely lucrative business if ran efficiently. We have composed the Bravo® Co-op Program to assist our valued customers in minimizing your start-up costs and maximizing your profits in order to succeed in this dynamic industry. Please read through the following carefully before setting up your business plans. It would save you a lot of time and headache in the long run.
It is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the product line prior to selling to the public. Customers are always going to have questions about the functions, features, and method of operation of the scooters. It is also wise to get access to samples to see how the scooters operate. You can go down to a local scooter shop and test the items or order a few samples directly from us. Please understand that we do not provide technical support for clients of co-op customers. You would be responsible for providing customer service for your own customers.

Please observe all laws and regulations while selling scooters.  El Sol Trading, Inc. is not responsible for the actions of Co-op customers.  By establishing a Co-op account with El Sol Trading, Inc., you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.  The terms and conditions may be changed without notice to Co-op customers upon the discretion of El Sol Trading, Inc.  Please make sure you understand completely all the terms and conditions listed above before applying for a Co-op account.  If there is anything that is unclear about this agreement, please contact our office and have a sales representative explain the terms to you prior to establishing an account.  Thank you for your time and we look forward to doing business with you in the near future.
 
Price Control
 
In order to control the market price of Bravo® Branded merchandise, Co-op customers must mark up each item by at least 40%.  Any Co-op customer selling below the market price (dumping) will be immediately disqualified as an authorized Bravo® Retailer.  In the event that you need to sell an item below the requirement because of circumstances beyond your control, please contact us prior to doing so.  We do not encourage customers to sell through auction sites such as eBay or Yahoo! Auctions unless a reserve price is established which must be greater than the suggested minimum price.  Customers selling on eBay without a reserve price will be disqualified for the Co-op program immediately.  We do not wish to have Co-op customers starting price wars to tarnish the Bravo® Brand and lower the value of our merchandise.
 
Privacy Policy
 
El Sol Trading, Inc. is sensitive to your security and privacy concerns. We are committed to protecting your rights and ease your worries. We utilize the most advanced security available today for online transactions. We use Secured Socket Layers (SSL) to encrypt all sensitive information before sending it over the Internet. You can rest assured that your personal information is safe from unauthorized access.  All information we collect about you are confidential and serve as a purpose of processing your orders and providing you with a more personalized shopping experience. El Sol Trading, Inc. does not willfully disclose information about its customers to any third party without the customer's permission.
 
Payment Terms
 
Payment is on a prepaid basis.  Co-op customers must deposit enough funds to cover their orders prior to shipment of any orders.  You can make a deposit at the local Citibank to our account or wire transfer into our account.  For wiring instructions, please email us.  Your initial deposit must be over $1,000.  This is the minimum stated on the wholesale price list.  We do not accept credit card nor PayPal payments for Co-op customers.  You can also send in cashier's check or money order to our office.  However, this would take considerable time and is not the recommended method of payment.  Local customers can also make a payment in our office.  Our office location and directions can be found by clicking "About Us" on the top of this page.  After the initial payment, you can deposit as much money as your orders require at your discretion.  Once payment is received, it will be applied to your account on our system.  You can ship any order up to the amount you have in the account.  If your account is running low, you can easily make a deposit.  Payments are usually applied within one business day to your account.  Once an order has been placed and is ready for shipment, we will email you a copy of the sales order showing exactly what was charged on the order with the exact shipping charges.
 
Order Placement
 
Placing an order is as easy as emailing us a purchase order.  Please make up purchase order numbers so we can both easily identify each order.  You can see the format of a sample purchase order by clicking here.  We do not charge Co-op customers with a drop shipping charge.  All the prices are the same as our regular wholesale customers that purchase in quantity.  THERE IS NO MINIMUM PER ORDER REQUIREMENTS FOR CO-OP CUSTOMERS. 
 
Shipping charges vary by location.  All items less than 80 lbs will be shipped via UPS.  You can see the estimated shipping charges by going to the UPS Website and get a rate from City of Industry, 91789 to your customer's location.  The shipping weight is approximately 10 lbs more than the net weight specified in the price list for packaging material and additional accessories.  You can download the worksheet for approximate box dimensions online. 
 
All items more than 80 lbs will be shipped via a freight company.  The minimum shipping rate for freight is $150.00 per piece within continental US.  Please contact us for rates elsewhere.  Please also contact us for multiple piece shipments.  We do not ship to APO, FPO addresses.  All items are shipped brand new in factory prepackaged boxes.  We will not be responsible for any shipping damages.  You will have to deal directly with UPS or Freight Company if there are any shipping damages. 
 
On the first order, you must also fax in a copy of your application, a copy of your Resale Certificate, a copy of your Federal Tax ID/Social Security Card, and a photo ID of the primary owner of the business. 
 
Warranty
 
Most merchandise carries a 30 day manufacturer's warranty against material defects unless otherwise specified in the price list.  Close out items do not come with warranty and is sold on as is basis.  (Close out items have a * next to the wholesale price)  We usually do not stock parts on close out items so please find another source for parts to service your customers. 
 
If a warranty claim needs to be filed, you need to send in the appropriate information in order for us to verify the eligibility of the claim.  Usually, proof of defect will be required (simple digital pictures will suffice in most cases).  On parts that are less probable to be defective, the customer may have to send in the actual part for inspection.  Customer must send in the requested parts at their own expense.  It is a good idea for customers to keep the tracking information for the item they sent in so we can better keep track of the shipment.  El Sol Trading, Inc. has sole discretion in determining the eligibility of a claim.  Co-op customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred from shipping replacement parts to your customer under warranty.  Warranty does not cover shipping damages, misuse, abuse, or other reasons except for manufacturer's defect.  Warranty parts are sent out on a first come, first serve basis.  If we do not have a part in stock, Co-op customer must find another source to service their customer. 
 
Most of the owner’s manuals for the scooters that we carry can be downloaded from our website on the internet.  If a customer did not receive an Owner's Manual with the scooter, you can have them visit our website to download it or download a copy for your self and email it to your customer.  In the case that no manual is available on our website, please feel free to email us and we will try our best to put a copy online for everyone's use.
 
Application Procedure
 
The first step to join the Co-op program is to fill out an application  and the resale certificate affidavit in the Wholesale section of our website.  The information provided will enable us to establish an account on our system for you.  That way, we can easily access your records and assist you in the most prompt fashion regardless of sales person.  Please note that you must have a valid Federal Tax ID, State Resale Certificate, Contact Telephone # and Email Address.  (Check out the Co-op Resources page for more information on Resale Certificates.)  All correspondence will be through email to ensure timely processing and accuracy.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO WAIT FOR APPLICATION APPROVAL TO START ORDERING.  Any qualified customer can become a Bravo® Authorized Dealer.  Once we receive your application, you will be provided with a link to our price list and you can start setting up your own pricing and start selling!  Please note that the prices on the price list are for scooters only and do not include shipping.  Please visit the ORDER PLACEMENT section to determine the approximate shipping rate for each order.
